Hello and welcome to our open-access short course about understanding women's occupational health. This course is designed to give you an introduction to thinking about different definitions and concepts of occupational health, and how occupational health relates to women's broader health and well-being.

The course is delivered through a mixture of reading and videos, and there is a short test at the end to assess your understanding. In total the course should take about 1-2 hours to work through.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

  1. Understand occupational risks to women’s health and safety
  2. Explore and understand occupational risks in various settings
  3. Consider the global burden of pandemics such as COVID-19 on women's occupational health
