Full course description
This CPD session will provide participants with an overview of communicable disease control as a key part of public health with a focus on responding to cases of communicable diseases and outbreaks. You will be provided with some pre-reading that you may find beneficial. During the workshop, you will explore two communicable disease control scenarios and how these were detected. You will then work in groups (using the knowledge acquired) to develop a response to each scenario. To end the session, there will be a health protection update.
