The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health New Academics and Fellows Programme (NAP) is part of a University wide approach to support new academics and to provide academic staff with the skills they need to carry out their research and teaching and learning duties at the highest level.

The programme is designed to be flexible and provides training in three key development areas and offers both face-to-face and online training.

The NAP is also accredited by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and successful completion of the programme will entitle you to become a Fellow of the HEA.

To register for a place on the NAP programme, if you have not already done so, please complete the online NAP registration form. 

All registered NAP participants are added to Canvas once they are registered. During enrollment into the online course, you should provide your name and UoM email address. You will be asked to confirm that your email matches an account in your name. If you are not, please contact acadresdev@manchester.ac.uk and ask to be added to Canvas before progressing further.
